Robert Grant leads a NYS Art Therapy Licensing Workshop

Robert Grant leads a departmental workshop about NYS Art Therapy License

As our graduating class of 2011 prepares to walk across the stage this Thursday, they are already anticipating the next step in their art therapy career paths: licensure.

Faculty member Robert Grant, LCAT, ATR-BC, is in the studio today answering questions from SVA students and alumni about becoming Registered, Board Certified (ATR-BC) and Licensed Creative Arts Therapists (LCAT) in New York State.

If you want to know what it takes to get an LCAT in New York, check out the Office of Professions Creative Arts Therapy License Requirements here.

For information on getting your BC, visit the Art Therapy Credentials Board here.
